Well, this is my first try on a new painting technique, which gives me more freedom on shading and glow. I might take this style into the DBZ world, though Iam focused on different styles at the moment.

As for the picture...
I've gone for a Tribute to the tibetan people, who had their cultural identity destroyed for years, by portraiting this evil monk, completely off traditional tibetan beliefs. Well, I guess that's what's going to happen if China continues to oppress the country.
Cultural freedom is the main theme, then. :)

Well, as always, I'am looking forward to your comments & suggestions :gadget:

Nicely done, but if you could, I'd like to know how this represents the Tibetan beliefs exactly. Like what the tattoos and markings mean.

It doesn't. That's the whole point, portrait a monk ripped from tradition.
I used the tattoo to underline the rising outside influence in their culture. :x
